Just move on up, move on up!

If I had any more emotions in me right now I'd be sure to burst! Recently, I have found a liking to feel good old 'funk' and 'soul' so that is why move on up by Curtis Mayfield is at the top of this post.
Well, have I had a hell of a fortnight or what.
On Sunday I arrived back from Lithuania (i know, who goes there!) from my cousins wedding and was practically dying from a hangover and the fact I had my German oral!

These are my top 5 tracks for the album(s) The Fame/The Fame Monster:
  1. Bad Romance
  2. Love Game
  3. Summer Boy
  4. Speechless
  5. Poker Face
Lady Gaga has to be the strangest most genius artist that has ever existed. She makes pop music likable to me and that is rather hard. Lady Gaga has done duets with artists such as Beyonce and Akon but she still manages to pull off one of the best albums of 2009, all by herself. There's a nice clip of my favourite Gaga song and I hope you can say you like her too.

Thanks for reading, Freya

3 Slags on a Corner : Chapter Four

Four - Louise

It was weird waking up in new place, I was a lot colder than normal and had a huge duvet over me. It looks like dad and Monique stocked up on essentials; in Monique’s case, nail polish and remover. In dad’s case he brought his glasses. What useful guardians I have.

I climbed out of bed and stepped onto the floor. Wooden, no carpet, great. I had already unpacked, I’d spent all weekend sorting out my stuff. There was nothing out of place, and no boxes. You could call me a neat freak, but you got to no that the only reason I clean it at first is so when it gets messed up later, I’ll know where it really needs to go for special occasions. I grabbed my new uniform which I collected on Saturday. It was mostly navy, with a short checked navy and grey skirt. If I wasn’t cold enough as it is, I now have to wear a skirt everyday with sheer tights. Who wears sheer anymore. I walked down the stairs in my ever faithful pair of “comfortable” shoes. Thanks dad. The witch and dad appeared at the bottom of the stairs; my dads face lit up when he saw me.
“Ohhhhhh, Loui look at you!” My dad was grinning from ear to ear. “Look Monique, go on look at her!”
“Oh believe me I’m looking at her.” She had a grimace on her face, but I made a point of not looking back at her.

“So dad what’s for breakfast?” I pulled out a chair and sat opposite Monique, making sure I gave her the dirtiest look I could manage this early in the morning. His smile faded and he pushed his glasses up his nose.
“Um, sorry love I seemed to have forgotten that you needed breakfast. But I can always stick a few slices of bread in the toaster. We have jam!” He grinned, but the obvious pleasing smile didn’t reach his eyes. He seemed to be hiding something, but I didn’t feel like pestering him right now.
“It’s OK. Actually I’ll skip the breakfast, I’m late anyway,” I said, pushing my chair back.
“Hun, you’ve still got an hour,” exclaimed my dad. “Yeah, but I want to make sure that I’m at school on time. What if I get lost on the way? Can I just have some money for lunch?” as I grabbed my bag, and headed over to dad. “ Sorry love, I’ve only got some coppers at the moment,” he turned his head, he was definitely hiding something, but I was distracted by Monique’s mumbling.
“Oh for goodness sake, I think I have some money,” she fumbled around in her purse and pulled out a £50 note. “Here, take this,” she said shoving it at me. “Cash it for me, and you can take a few quid. Bring me back the change.”
“Of course,” I said as she strutted out the room, giving her a fake smile. “Bye dad,” I bent down and gave him a kiss on the cheek. I turned around and headed for the front door.
“Bye love. Have a nice day. Be safe now,” I only heard a whisper now as I shut the door on his words. My iPod drowned out the noise of the cars; Kings of Leon were one of the best bands ever. Especially sex on fire. Although I would never have sex until I was mature enough.

I walked down the unfamiliar pathway and went out the gate. I’m sure I’d get used to the postman who’d dropped his bike, the couple across the street throwing plates at each other, the old man saying good morning to everyone, and a young girl stopping to talk to a builder, while her boyfriend waited annoyed behind her. That looked quite funny, but they were at the other end of the road so a couldn’t see them that well.

I got to the end of the road and turned right. I hadn’t seen that couple but they were behind me now.
“Oh, come on Evie. He wasn’t even interested. Hurry up, I’m going to the rugby club soon. I have got better things to do,” said the boy. He sounded a little older then me.
“He was, really. And you don’t have to take me to school you know, I don’t need my older brother to watch over me 24/7,” said the girl, in a high pitched voice. I’m guessing they’re not going out then, I thought to myself. I started chuckling hoping they wouldn’t hear me. They sounded Irish, but I wasn’t entirely sure as Scottish sounded similar to me. In fact the only Irish I’d heard was when I watched P.S I love you in Australia. It was so sad!
But anyway, I looked down at my watch to jump back into reality. Oh beep. I wouldn’t actually swear; it’s rude. But I only had 5 minutes to get to school. The clock at home must be wrong. I crossed the road then, in a slight run, and I could still hear a quiet echo of chattering behind me.

Won't go Quietly - Example

This is the second single from new kids on the block, Example. It sounds like I only like the second releases of bands songs but that is really not true, I loved their first single, Watch the Sun come up, that is a brill song. But, this is their new one and my favourite. Take a listen...

Their words mostly noises Ghosts with just voices Your words in my memory Are like music to me

Its been a while, but I felt I really needed to blog about this brilliant looking film called Dear John. it stars the hot Channing Tatum:

I am sure to enjoy seeing him topless! And the very pretty, and talented Amanda Seyfried:
Who, would you believe, played both Karen in Mean Girls and Sophie in Mamma Mia. She plays the lead role in this stunner of a movie, Dear John. So here it is, a glimpse at the wonders to come...

Fader - The Temper Trap

This is the second single from this Australian band led by lead vocalist Dougie Mandagi. They are most known for their single Sweet Disposition which was released late last year but this one happens to be my favourite. Take a look at the video above and tell me what you think. :)

3 Slags on a Corner : Chapter Three

Three - Matilda

Oh my head. Six. Six in the bloody morning, and she’s moving a drum kit. A drum kit for crying out loud. Why did she need to move it.
“Tilly! Get down here will you!” I heard my sisters voice ring from downstairs.
“I’m sleeping!” I heard her drop the drum kit and pound up the stairs. She walked into my room and pulled the quilt off me.
“Hey Cassie! What are you doing?” She smiled and ruffled my hair.
“We, my little sister, are going on a road trip.” Oh that’s not so bad, we never stayed in a place for that long anyway. Our parents died when I was twelve. We used to live in Morocco, my mum was half Moroccan; so that means I have a permanent tan, but our parents decided they wanted to live in England. They left me and my sister in Morocco to go check out a house in Manchester. We were really excited about leaving, it sounded amazing.
When our parents got there, they found a beautiful house just on the edge of Manchester. They’d emailed pictures back to us, and we loved it too. But, on the flight back to Morocco there was major turbulence. The pilot couldn’t control the plane and it crashed. My parents, and all the rest of the plane, were pronounced dead. No one saw it coming. Me and my sister were left in Morocco with no money or family. Both our parents were only children, and the only grand parents we had were in England. That’s when it clocked. My sister would ask our English grandparents, who we’d never met, to lend us money to fly over to England and live in the new house. It was all paid for so all we needed were flights over to England. So, Cassie asked them and, can you believe it, they agreed. So, two days later we’d left and were in England. The house was a beautiful as the pictures had shown; we lived there for a year when we decided to sell it. The profit was huge, we got forty thousand pounds over the asking price. That’s when we decided to live on the road, we had loads of money which we didn’t need to spend on a house; we lived in our car. We stopped at camping sites have a shower, and restaurants to eat. My sister got various jobs, but I was too young. I was fifteen when we moved here to Devon, and now we’re moving again. London, the big city; lots of money to be earned there. I’d be starting back at school after four years off. I got into a small school sixth form. Cassie wants to settle in London, so we’re buying a small house with the money we’ve got left. It’s cute I suppose, if you like cottage type houses.
So, now I get it, we’re leaving today; the house must be ready.
“So, we’re going today?” Cassie turned and smiled.
“Course! Off to the best city in the world!”
I smiled at her, she was seriously excited. I was too I guess, but just couldn’t seem to show it; you know it being six in the morning and all.

*

“Put on All American Rejects.” I reached for the iPod and turned to it. Cassie grabbed it out of my hands and scowled.
“No! We’re listening to Red Hot Chilli Peppers!” Oh for goodness sake, she went on one date. One date; and she is obsessed with the lead singer. And it was only because she won a competition. I was so bored of them now because of Cassie, so I pulled out one of my cigarettes.
“What are you doing?” Asked Cassie, as I put it in my mouth.
“Er…taking a smoke, like usual. Do you have a lighter, I can’t find mine.” This wasn’t how I expected her reaction to be. She pulled the cigarette out of my mouth and chucked it out the window. “What are you doing?” I shouted to her. “That was my last fag, you idiot. We need to stop to buy more now.”
“This is a new start, new life, and I gotta start acting like a proper guardian alright? No more smoking, or drugs, or alcohol, or sex!”
“Hey, that is so not fair. I’m fine with the sex coz I don’t do that anymore anyway. I’ve never taken drugs, and I’m 18 in 2 years so I might as well start drinking now!” That was all true. Especially the sex thing. Ever since the Robbie Sinn incident, I’ve gone off sex altogether!

We passed a 5km sign, and also a very stupid sign which was actually quite funny; it said “sign not in use”! Me and Cassie had a good old laugh at that. I looked to my right and saw a small off licence. I took this as my chance to get some cigarettes.
“Hey Cassie. Are you hungry?” Cassie frowned.
“Why?” She looked suspicious. I smiled.
“Because there’s an off licence over there and I thought we could get something.” She stopped frowning and smiled.
“Good idea Tills.” We stopped on a yellow line and I jumped out quickly. Cassie handed me a twenty pounds note and I ran into the shop. When I got in I saw a long aisle of sandwiches so I headed for it. I grabbed a BLT for Cassie and got myself a cheese salad baguette(I’m vegetarian). I also got a large bag of salt and vinegar kettle chips, a bottle of water for me and a coke for Cass. That’s when I saw them. Hundreds of packets all over the wall, I walked up to the till and gave the woman my stuff. She started scanning it in when I asked for my usual packet of cigarettes. She smiled.
“Can I see some I.D please love?” I returned the smile and whipped out Cassie’s I.D. I’d managed to skive it while she had been preoccupied. I showed it to her and she smiled.
“Thank You Cassandra that will be eighteen eighty five.” She held her hand out and I gave her the note. She out it in her till and I left. I walked over to the car and got in, that’s when I noticed the cashier running towards me.
“Cassandra!” She got over to the car and Cassie opened the window.
“Um can I help you?” She laughed.
“No no love I’m just giving Cassandra her receipt and change.” She handed it to me and walked back to her shop. Cassie peered at me.
“Why was she calling you my name?” I laughed nervously.
“I have no idea. What a silly woman.” I slumped down in my chair and tried to cover my face with my hand. She grabbed the bag off my lap and looked inside.
“Tilly I cannot believe you! I specifically said no cigarettes!” She took the pack of cigarettes and through them out of the window. I gasped.
“Cassie what the hell!” She scowled deeply.
“Tilly you are forbidden to smoke anymore. Do you understand?” That shocked look started to fall from my face. I nodded and she turned back forwards and pulled off the curb.

But, what shocked me the most, was the speed at how we got to our village. There was a little girl on her bike riding down the road, and a group of old men playing cards, it looked like a scene from a family film where everyone was just about to die. I squinted into the distance and saw a small house with a for sale sign outside. Cassie pointed forwards,
“There it is Tills, our new home!”

Many of Horror - Biffy Clyro

This is the 4th single from Biffy Clyro's album "Only Revelations" released 6th November 2009. It isn't as fast paced as any of the other songs this band has written, it shows a different side compared to songs such as 'The Captain' which are loud and in your face. I really like this single and at the moment, its only 59p on iTunes!

January 2010

These are my Top 5 tracks from the album "Take Off Your Colours"-
  1. Save it for the Bedroom
  2. Always Attract
  3. Kiss and Tell
  4. Finders Keepers
  5. Poker Face

You may be wondering why I did review of You Me At Six's old album when their new one was (literally) just released. Well, your answer is that I haven't had a blog long enough to talk about all the amazing albums of last year and, so far, this year; ergo, this post. You Me At Six are a 5 part English band with amazing songs and just most the ridiculously catchy lyrics ever invented. I love them, I hope that you will love them and all is well. New album is called "Hold Me Down" and was released only a little while ago.

Thanks for reading, Freya x x

3 Slags on a Corner : Chapter Two

Two - Evie

I could hear his footsteps following behind me, I hurried towards the window and pushed it open. The rope of tied sheets were to the left, I bent down and threw it out the window. I turned to see Dougie standing just behind me smiling. He drew me in and kissed me, I returned it and laughed.
“You have to go now, mum’s up!” I pulled away and he cautiously climbed down the rope. He dropped to the ground and looked up and smiled.
“I’ll meet you at our spot. Four o’clock?” I nodded and blew him a kiss. He ran to the end of the garden and jumped over the back wall. I was waiting by the window, when my mother walked in.
“Hello darling! Quick, quick come downstairs!” I looked at her puzzled. She waved me forward with her arm and I walked towards her.
“Why, what’s going on downstairs?” She mock zipped her mouth up and waved me along still. I rolled my eyes and followed her down the stairs. I saw my brother coming out of his room with my dad, he was doing the same thing my mum had done to me; he wasn’t saying anything either. Owen looked peeved, he didn’t normally wake up before twelve and it’s eight now. He pulled a grey hoodie over his head, and him and my dad followed behind my mum and I down the stairs.
When I reached the bottom my mum ushered me towards the dining table. I sat down and Pierre, our butler, came over with my favourite breakfast, pancakes. When Owen sat down he got his favourite breakfast too, a bowl of cheerios. He tucked in straight away, but I waited for more bribery.
“O.K mum, dad. Why are you buttering us up?” They both sat down at either ends of the table and were given a bowl of fresh fruit each, they’re on a diet. My dad put his spoon down and glanced between me and Owen. Owen had stopped eating and was now staring at dad suspiciously.
“O.K kids, we have some pretty big news for you both.” I glanced at Owen and frowned, he looked back at dad. Dad continued. “We are moving.” Owen looked like he’d been slapped right across the cheek. I drew in breath and put my fork down. Owen spoke next.
“What?” He looked at dad like death. “We’re moving? Where Cork, Dublin?” My dad shook his head and looked down. My mum chose this time to speak, we both looked at her.
“Owen love. We’re not moving to another part of Ireland. We’re moving to another country altogether.” Owens face looked confused.
“What country?” He leant back in his chair and frowned.
“Owen, Eve. We’re moving to London, England.” I gasped and pushed my chair back. I raced up the stairs and flew into my bedroom. I burst into tears and grabbed my pillow to cover my head. Moving to England would mean I’d never see any of my friends again. I’d never see Dougie. The one guy I’d actually liked and didn’t just like me because I was easy. I heard a light tap on the door.
“Go away!” I yelled, they didn’t listen. I felt the bottom of my mattress lower, I took the pillow off my head and saw Owen staring straight ahead. “I said go away.” He looked down at me and smiled.
“Oh come on sis. You didn’t know it was me then.” I tried not to smile and put the pillow back over my head.
“I know you have loads of friends here. But you’ll make new ones in London.”
“I know I will but, its just a shock you know?” He nodded.
“I don’t want to go, basically because I’ve just got a place in my dream uni, plus I don’t want to leave Siân. I’ve been with her for ages, and I think I love her. But I don’t know. Maybe fate is saying there’s someone in London who I’ll love more.” I sat up and gave him a huge hug.

*

So it was sorted, we were moving to England and my parents were strangely happy. My dad wouldn’t stop smiling and my mum kept squeezing my cheek; by the way, this was annoying. Owen had a huge farewell with Siân, there were lots of tears. Not from Owen, he’d seemed to have got over it. I hadn’t realised that I hadn’t said goodbye to Dougie, until I was on the plane. I was crushed, he would be so angry with me; he’d think I’d stood him up. I would never do that to him, ever.
The plane trip was only an hour long, so we got to England in no time. As soon as we were off the plane it was a big rush to get our bags; well I say we but I mean mum, dad and Owen. I got chatting to a fit French guy. He’d complemented me on my outfit, but there wasn’t much of it. It was only a skirt and bandeau top. I was freezing, but looked amazing. I had my bleach blond hair in curls and lashings of mascara around my deep, blue eyes. My false nails kept getting caught on the handle of my suitcase, so Owen offered to pull it for me. We were standing outside the bathroom waiting for dad. I glanced around to see a girl who looked about the same age as me, but looked like a complete book worm. I noticed that her gaze was turned directly to Owen, I didn’t understand why.
When we got outside, there was a huge stretch limo waiting for us, Owen sighed.
“Dad, do we always have to make a scene. You could have just got a small car, we’d have fit.”
“No Owen. Where would we have put all of Evie’s baggage? It would never have fit into a seven seated car, let alone a five!” I smiled and leaned over to kiss my dad on the cheek.
“You know me too well dad.” I heard Owen mumble something like, he doesn’t know me, but he wouldn’t say that; he loves dad!

Brick by Boring Brick - Paramore

This breathtaking song was released on 20th November 2009 and probably has on of the best videos I've seen in a while. I like Hayley Williams hair blonde but MUCH prefer it red. Do you agree? Josh Farro looks hot digging and the glimpses of Taylor, Jeremy and Zac make you smile. Enjoy!

Friday Night Live

Hallo my fellow bloggers, Freya here and OH do I have a night to tell you about. First off, we delved into the glorious world of 'peri peri' and spicy rice. Yes indeed, it was nandos.

Then we decided to drop into the cinema and watch, probably, the worst film I have ever seen.

I saw this with Alexz, Jamie, Ellie and Sarah. This film is called daybreakers, it is a 15 and so you must pay adult prices. So not worth it, the acting is shit, the story is ridiculous, there is too much blood to even see anything that's happening, the lead is meant to be hot but sooo isn't, the jokes are shit, and to finish it all off; it cut out ten minutes into it. Not the best experience of my life!

Then we (being me and sarah) got the bus home and BOY was it an experience. I think the nandos may have gone to my head because felt drunk on the way home. We gave 2 guys wrong directions and still they thanked us! We thought we were gonna be killed by a small black car, we laughed like hyenas on the bus and this was all in one night! I thought I was going to be raped walking up my road. I was so scared literally. Not a fun time.

But apart from all that, a very fun night. :)

3 Slags on a Corner : Chapter One

I know this is what you've all been waiting for, the first chapter 3 Slags on a Corner. It is below and I need you to comment if you would like the next chapter. x x x x x

Preface

Chace to my left, Tilly to my right here I am. Stuck in the middle of them. Yeah I’m stuck in the middle of them. Whistle solo. WOoooOOoOOOoOOOooooOOOOOOooo! End whistle solo and get up for toilet. Wait a second, why am I speaking in stage directions?
“Evie stop fucking whistling.” Tilly whacked me with her pillow and rolled over, but fell off the bed. “Ahh!” THUMP! I sat up and looked down at Tilly who was laying on the floor holding her head. I laughed.
“Tilly get off the floor.” She looked really confused.
“Where am I?” I laughed and sighed. Poor Tilly, bad hangover syndrome.

One - Louise

What is up with Romeo! I’ve read this story fifteen times, and he still bugs me. I don’t get why everyone loves him so much; Juliet’s way out of his league. Jeez, they knew each other four days and got married. Unbelievable!
“Louise, would you come down here for a minute?” called that same familiar voice I love to hear every day. I threw the play onto my pillow.
“Coming dad,” I replied as I ran out the room. I got to the bottom of the stairs and stumbled into a pile of empty boxes. What were they for, I thought. I forgot about them, when I noticed my dad pacing in the kitchen. The witch was sitting at the kitchen table, filing her nails, as usual. My dad looked up as I walked into the room, He smiled but his eyes had a look of worry in them.
“Hiya bubs, can you sit down a mo. Your mum and I-”
“She’s not my mum!” my mum died when I was nine and I was stuck with my dad’s secretary, Monique.
“Oh yeah right, well Monique and I would um like to tell you uh something.” Monique still hadn’t looked up, she stretched forward which looked like she was reaching for my dad’s arm; my dad thought so too and reached instinctively, just to be disappointed that Monique was reaching for her wine. Dad pushed his glasses up his nose, trying to hide the fact that he had been rejected, although not literally. He opened his mouth to speak again when Monique interrupted him,
“O.K Louise you’re a big girl now, so I think you can handle it.”
“No, Monique! We decided I was going to tell her!”
“Well then Henry get on with it already, I’ve got a manicure and pedicure booked in half an hour; just tell her we’re moving already.” I scrunched my fore head and looked at my dad. I couldn’t decide whether I was pleased or not.
“Well um Lou, the thing is, we’ve lived in Australia for a long time-”
“Wait a minute; we’re moving out of Australia?” I gasped, we were moving out of this desert at last. Back to civilization. Lucky I hadn’t picked up an Australian accent then. That’s because my dad and my REAL mum are/were English, so I picked up their accent with just a hint of Australian.
Dads hands were out in front of him apologetically, and probably waiting for the hissy fit I was about to throw. However, I think he was expecting a different kind of hissy fit.
“We’re moving, wooooooh, we’re moving,” I started jumping up and down and I could just about see the shock on dads face, and disgust on the witches. “Where are we moving to? Oh please say England, Please, please, please?” he didn’t have to say anything, he just smiled, which just made me start jumping up and down again. “Yes, Yes, Yes!” Then the witch stood up from the corner of my eye and walked over to dad. I stopped jumping and turned towards them as Monique started to talk.
“Well, I did suppose you would be happy, since you haven’t got many friends here anyway, in fact you only have that Annie girl, who’s father collects our rubbish,” she coughed then, but it was a cough of repulsion. “And your father got a much better job over there, with a lot more money.”
She turned towards him then, and started to kiss him. Well, it wasn’t really a kiss, more of Monique licking the face off my dad. My happiness faded but nothing could really bring me down. I turned to leave but caught the witch staring at me, whilst she was still getting off with dad. Then I felt like I was about to hurl and ran upstairs.

*

The following week dragged on involving a whole lot of packing. It turns out dad had already sorted out the house in England, and all the preparations so I didn‘t have to do anything other than pack. However, I still had to say a whole lot of goodbyes, well no, a goodbye.
“Bye Annie” I mumbled into Annie’s arm. As soon as I had told her, she’d grabbed me in to a massive bear hug and cried.
“I’ll miss you forever and ever, you’ve been my best friend since you moved here, stay in contact yeah?” Annie spluttered between her crying.
“Of course,” I smiled, thinking to myself, not really. Annie was an alright friend but we had spend all our lunchtimes in the library or doing homework, I didn’t really know anything about her apart from the fact she was really clever. Just like me, I guess.
I left Annie crying on the park bench and walked over to my dad and the witch sitting in the car. They had the suitcases in the back of the car, that’s when I realised that I would be sitting on a suitcase the whole ride to the airport. That was most likely Monique’s idea. The witch!

We got to the airport and queued up for the baggage control, the queue went quickly and before I knew it, we were on the plane. The pilot was talking to us over the intercom and wishing us all a happy, safe flight and if we had any inquiries to please ask the cabin crew. He started the engine and we raced forward, a huge jolt of excitement passed through me and I gasped. My dad leaned across and squeezed my hand, he smiled. Monique saw the moment and grabbed my dad’s hand, complaining of airsickness. Though we weren’t in the air yet. The plane ran along the runway until we reached the end and left Australian soil hopefully forever. This place had too many bad memories. Every day for the last sixteen years of my life had been spent on that ground, now its time for change.

The next thing I knew my dad was shaking me and beaming. We must have landed safely. I jumped up to look out the windows at England, it was gloomier than I’d expected. It was raining, but hey anywhere was better then Australia. I walked off the plane and stepped into the airport. That’s when I lost all breath in my body. I stumbled back and fell into an old man; he helped me up and I apologized. Dad and Monique carried on walking forward and I followed slowly. The boy was standing next to an amazingly pretty, but very slutty, looking girl. I knew they weren’t together because they both had the same eyes and smile. Neither were looking this way, but I wasn’t really concentrating on the girl, the boy though, my God, I’d never felt like this over a boy before. But it wasn’t as if I was ever going to see him again, so I left it and turned to follow dad.
He wouldn’t go for me anyway, well he might, I’m not ugly; but I’m not overly pretty as well.
I have long black hair, which goes, just past my shoulders. It’s straight and most people think I use straighteners, but they’re too expensive. I also have a fringe, full. I don’t really get the point of side fringes that much; I mean they suit other people but never me. I tried it once and wow did I look bad. My eyes are hazel, which I got from my mum. Most people think I would look like a typical geek but I’m not. In fact I’ve been to parties before and actually been hit on, by pretty ugly guys but still, they’re guys, who I also said “no” to every time.
I’d been lost in my thoughts that I hadn’t realized that dad had the suitcases, all of them, including mine and Monique’s, who was standing right next to him. How out of order was that. I ran over to him and took mine off.
“Here dad, let me help,” I said, whilst glaring at Monique. She gave me a fake smile behind dad and turned around.
“Well Lou, you ready to go to your new home?” he said, which made me produce a huge smile across my face. I was ready, and I couldn’t wait.

Little by Little

The snow is here at last and isn't it coming down quick! It looks so b-e-a-utiful and I'm getting ready for a tomorrows snow ball fight already! Don't worry, there will be some uploaded pictures of today. So, is it snowing in your neck of the woods? If so, how deep is it?
Getting ready for some Gossip Girl catching up tonight and possibly some One Tree Hill too, but who knows? The snow may take over my life!

This is my cat, she was stuck in the snow and sinking. We had to grab
her out as her paws were like snow mittens!
